Vaginal Prolapse - Cystocele

An oblique internal view of the female pelvic floor anatomy depicts a vaginal prolapse (cystocele).  The anterior wall (pubocervical fascia) between a womans bladder and her vagina weakens or tears and allows the bladder to herniate into the vagina.
