Right tibia osteomyelitis AB beads

Surgery performed is an extensive partial excision of bone with creation of a bone trough in proximal tibial shaft. Surgical steps depicted: A. Chronic osteomyelitis (infection) of left proximal Tibia. B. Removal of 10 inch bone using osteotome. C. Debridement of infected and necrotic tissue from proximal tibia. D. Sequential reaming of canal to enlarge canal. E. Lavage of the canal. F. Insertion of the AB Beads into the enlarged canal, to assist with healing.
