Vaginal Prolapse - Cystocele (fallen bladder) & Transvaginal Mesh Repair

Female pelvic floor anatomy depicts a vaginal prolapse (cystocele).  The anterior wall (pubocervical fascia) between a womans bladder and her vagina weakens or tears and allows the bladder to herniate into the vagina.  A transvaginal mesh is surgically implanted to reinforce the weakened vaginal wall.
